Gloria Délicatesse is a bubbly and curvy burlesque artist and producer from Tampere, Finland. Like her name can reveal, Gloria enjoys everything sweet and delicious. She also is a rebel, body positivity activist and mental health awareness warrior. She wants to affect societal issues via art or burlesque. Gloria also studied burlesque art and its effects on psycho-social wellbeing in her masters degree thesis, so she is convinced that burlesque can change the world to be more inclusive and equal. Even one tassel twirling at the time!

 

Her burlesque career started about seven years ago and she has since performed all around Finland and also abroad in Estonia, Poland, Austria and Czech. Few years ago Gloria and her two fellow performers started a burlesque trio called Three Kisses and their acts are mostly vintage and pin-up themed. Pinup's aesthetic is also close to Gloria’s heart and you can see it also in her stage costumes.

 

Gloria has produced burlesque shows like Mysterious Creatures Burlesque Show and Boobs & Pumpkins Livestream Burlesque Show. Nowadays Gloria produces monthly burlesque club called Varjokabaree and also show called Gloria's Virtual Burlesque Show which includes performers from all over the world. She wants to create a safe and equal way for everybody to enjoy burlesque art.

 

Gloria’s performing style is a combination of classic and neo burlesque. A fellow performer once said that Gloria is a mix of fairy tales, witchcraft and glamour. So you better be ready when Gloria brings her delicacies and rebel attitude to the stage!
